Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles is a 2005 drama film directed by renowned Chinese director Zhang Yimou starring Ken Takakura. The film tells the story of an aged Japanese father striving to gain the forgiveness of his son when he learns that his son has been diagnosed with liver cancer.
