China has to play different roles at home and abroad, says an article in the newspaper El Pais in Spain. Excerpts:
China is the world's second largest economy. It is also an indispensable part of the international community, especially when it comes to solving global issues and conflicts. China upholds multilateralism and tries its best to enhance its global influence by developing its national economy.
Peaceful rise has become a catchphrase for China's diplomacy. Facing complicated international situations, the country will continue its peaceful foreign policies and put economic construction on the top of its agenda.
Besides, China will maintain a stable international and domestic environment and avoid escalating regional conflicts. Certainty and stability are of great importance to China's economic growth and foreign trade.
