Police unchain stubborn patient from hospital bed

Mom to the rescue

When her daughter locked herself out, an indulgent mother traveled over 100 km from another city in order to deliver her backdoor key and give her house a thorough cleaning, before leaving on the same day, Chutian Metropolis Daily reported Wednesday.

The girl lives in Wuhan city of Central China's Hubei province, while her parents live in Xiantao city. She lost her key to her apartment, and asked her mother who had a spare key to send it through express delivery. But her mom said she couldn't get the key to her on the same day that way and went to Wuhan herself.

Before hitting the road, the mother made 60 of her daugher's favorite dumplings with vegetable stuffing, and brought them to her. Making the dumplings took her about 4 hours.
