Soliders get into "Little Apple" dance
Over 40 newly-recruited frontier soldiers, all born after 1990, practice the popular "Little Apple" dance in minus 27 degree temperatures after running 5 kilometers in Heihe, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province. A series of such activities, including soccer, bowling and dancing on a snowfield have been held for the new soldiers to foster their spirits of patriotism and dedication.
Little Apple, written and performed by the Chopsticks Brothers, recently won the AMA International Song Award. With its catchy lyrics and dynamic melody, the song has become an instant hit.
