A reporter shot a rare picture of a snow leopard chasing after goats in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Sunday, the first clear image shot in the wild in China of the endangered species, Urumqi Evening News reported.
The snow leopard, a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia, has been listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as "globally endangered".
