A flight connecting Hangzhou, Beijing and Lisbon will be launched on July 25.
The flight is to be run by Beijing Capital Airlines, and will be the first of its kind to connect China and Portugal. It will run three times a week, according to the airline.
The flight will boost trade between China, Portugal, Brazil and Angola, says Xu Jun, president of Capital Airlines, and it will also make it easier for Chinese visitors to explore Spain and Morocco.
The airline will also work with TAP Portugal and Azul Brazilian Airlines to build air links between China and South America.
