Guests were also welcome to taste fresh-ground coffee at the Vienna Coffee House, representing the city's long cultural history with coffee, which is considered one of the "three treasures" of Vienna: coffee, music and the waltz.
At the ball, the renowned Original Wiener Strauss Capelle performed a variety of classical pieces, accompanied by beautiful melodies from the land of Vienna.
The quadrille dance is the most eye-catching at every Vienna ball, and the Kempinski's Vienna Ball was no exception. The festivities began with a dance from 32 debutantes and their escorts, soon joined by other guests, whirling around the dance floor.
All the debutantes' stunning, snow-white ball gowns were created by the official outfitter of the ball, Tanya Couture, founded by one of China's most influential designers Tanya Wang in 2009.
