Spring tea season
Farmers in Baokang county, Hubei province pick tea leaves at an organic tea plantation, March 24, 2013. With the Qingming Festival approaching, many tea producing areas in South China are coming into the "Golden Period" of picking tea. Farmers take advantage of the good weather to pick "Mingqian tea" in order to meet market demands. "Mingqian tea" refers to a kind of tea which is picked before Qingming Festival.
