SHANGHAI -- With key players missing the game due to injuries, Chinese Super League (CSL) club Shanghai SIPG draws 0-0 with South Korea's Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the Asian Champions League (ACL) quarter-final first leg at home on Tuesday.

Dario Conca, a crucial midfielder for Shanghai, was brought down by a knee injury. Also on the injury list is Hulk who moved to SIPG on a record-high fee of 55 million euros ($61 million). The Brazilian striker has returned to training but is still unfit for the game.

Both sides appeared to be very cautious in the game, trying not to concede the opening goal. Jeonbuk Hyundai's Leonardo hit the right post in the 38th minute.

Jeonbuk substituted two attacking players in an attempt to earn an away goal, but neither side managed to find the net in the rest of the game.

The second leg of the ACL quarter-final will kick off in Jeonbuk's World Cup Stadium on September 13.
