Marco van Basten
Marco van Basten played for the Dutch national team 58 times and played a key role in helping his team win the 1988 European Football Championship.
In 2004, he became the head coach of the Dutch national team for four years, leading the football players in the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008.
He scored 300 goals during his career.
But the Dutch team exited the 1990 World Cup early, losing to West Germany in the second round.
Van Basten never scored in the World Cup Finals.
