Justin Eveson (Australia) Wheelchair Basketball, 29
At the age of 12, Justin Eveson had his right leg amputated below the knee after a garden accident. He initially took up swimming, but in 2000 switched to wheelchair basketball. He began to play for Perth Wheelcats in 2001, made the Australian team in 2002 and has since played professionally in Spain, Italy and Turkey. In 2009, Justin was on the winning side in every tournament in which he took part. Among those were the Australian National Wheelchair Basketball League, the Turkish National Wheelchair Basketball League and the European Wheelchair Basketball Champions Cup.
