A press conference for the Fifth China (Guangdong) International Internet Plus Expo was held on Oct 9 in Foshan, Guangdong province, announcing that this year's expo will take place in the city from Oct 16 to 19.
With the theme of "industrial interconnection, digital smart manufacturing," the expo covers an exhibition area of 55,000 square meters, an increase of 10 percent from last year. A total of 800 well-known enterprises from home and abroad, including Huawei, JD.com, Midea Group, China Unicom, Columba Industries Corporation, and Software AG, will present a variety of new forms of business and application models in the era of industrial internet.
Cutting-edge technologies, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, smart factories, multifunctional helicopters, and 5G, will also be on display at the expo.
In addition, more than 20 forums and activities will be held during the expo, including the Sino-German (Foshan) Smart Manufacturing Cooperation Conference co-organized with ZVEI, with internationally renowned experts, academicians, and entrepreneurs discussing the important strategic ideas of industrial internet plus.
