Penglai Pavilion
Penglai Pavilion is a State-level 5A tourism spot. It is one of the most famous pavilions in China.
Built during the Song Dynasty, Penglai Pavilion is located near the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea. Besides amazing views of the morning sunrise, people can also see mirages on the pavilion. In addition, there are some 200 carved stones from the Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties.
For its unique aura and history, Penglai Pavilion is the birthplace of many myths and legends of China. It is also a cultural landmark of Penglai. Every year, the tourism spot welcomes an average of two million tourists.
