Jiangsu media tour promoting good morals kicks off in Nanjing

The national media tour of 2016 Beautiful Jiangsu, Noble Morals—promoting morals for a better society, got underway on June 22 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, Jsnews.jschina.com.cn reported.

Over the next few days, prominent officials from the Jiangsu government will travel the province promoting good morals and a harmonious society.

Cai Lixin, deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department and Ge Lai, deputy director of the provincial spiritual civilization administration office attended and addressed the launch ceremony.

Cai said that governments at all levels in the province have been dedicated to promoting good morals for a better society by carrying out studies and applying the results, as well as embodying the spirit of speeches delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping. Xi stressed the guiding and supporting role and cohesive force of Chinese culture and spirit in government services, and called for a new level of cultural construction in Jiangsu.

Cai said that the national media tour will help to demonstrate Jiangsu's progress in building socialist morality, foster the core values of socialism and strengthen the construction of a spiritual civilization, using network media.
