The 22nd Tourism Culture Festival & 4th CCCEF to open in Sanmenxia

The 22nd Tourism Culture Festival and the fourth session of the Chinese Characteristic Commodity Expo Fair (CCCEF) will open in Sanmenxia on May 25.

The festival and the fair are expected to boost the city's tourism development and promote its economic potential. To guarantee the success of the events, Sanmenxia Department of Commerce has formed a 19-strong promotion team.

Organizers made new investment guidance and listed 115 key investment projects. They held promotion conferences in Zhengzhou and visited Henan branches of Chamber of Commerce of Suzhou and Shaanxi. According to organizers, there will be more than 1,200 merchants attending the events.

More than 10 groups of traders have been invited to Sanmenxia to inspect and discuss business since March, with 15 projects totaling 7.18 billion yuan ($1.1 billion) in investment being signed at the 10th China (Henan) International Investment and Trade Fair in April.

As part of the events, various activities are planned, such as lunch meetings, a tent festival and the color run. The events are aimed at raising awareness of the investment opportunities in Sanmenxia as well as displaying characteristic commodities related to tourism and the outdoors.
