2015-10-30

Being one of the big events during the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), China Hi-Tech Forum has grown into a high-end platform to promote international exchange of technology and economy. The 2015 forum will be held from Nov 16 to 18.

Guests including ministerial-level officials from abroad and academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will give keynote speeches at the opening ceremony of the forum.

So far, the invited guest speakers include Fred O.Matiang'I, the cabinet secretary, ministry of Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) of Kenya; Cécile Jodogne, state secretary of the Brussels-Capital Region in Belgium; Jean-Claude Marcourt, minister of Economy and Foreign Affairs of the Walloon government, Belgium; and Chen Guoliang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

There will be three major topics in the forum-- promoting innovative development with international cooperation, the upgrading of economic growth quality, and the trend and latest issues of global technology development.

The 2015 China Hi-Tech Forum will work closely around "the trans-boundary integration of innovation and entrepreneurship," which will also be the theme of CHTF this year. It will also follow the trend of technology development and international cooperation to boost open innovation in a greater range and to a higher level.
