They came from various governmental organizations and institutions including the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, China Academy of Social Sciences and Nankai University.
Experts from Nankai University talked about the general framework and explained the specific aim of each potential topic. This year's summit will have 20 sub-topics from seven aspects, all of which are closely related to the theme "Promoting Innovation, Creating Value".
The hot words in economics right now are ‘Free Trade Area’,‘Urbanization’, ‘TPP’, and ‘New Leaders’; and they will all be embodied in the topics. Tianjin, China and the world will be three major dimensions when conceiving the topics.
Starting 2010, Tianjin Summer Davos Preparation Office has been cooperating with the International Economic Research Center in pre-studying the topics of each session. Their studies provide references as well as the schedules of the World Economic Forum.
