Western China Sourcing Fair to be held

The second Western China International Sourcing Fair will be held between Sept 17 and 18 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest Shaanxi province, China Daily learned on August 19.

Some 200 famous buyers from the United States, Germany, Australia, Argentina, Poland and other countries and regions will participate in the fair. They will interact with more than 500 suppliers of equipment manufacturing, high-tech products, agricultural products, consumer goods and textiles. Sponsored by the Shaanxi provincial commercial department, the fair provides more than 500 exhibition places for the buyers and suppliers to do business.

The first such fair was held in 2012 when 219 famous international buyers and Fortune 500 companies from 36 countries and regions took part in the event. Formal contracts and agreements totaled $1.48 billion that year.
