Zhumadian pays return visit to Wuqing

Previously, Wuqing returned a donated Buddha statue that dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to its hometown – Zhengyang county in Henan's Zhumadian city.

A cultural delegation from Zhumadian city, central China's Henan province, came to Wuqing district, Tianjin municipality, on Aug 5 and 6, 2013, for a return visit for the "Return of Buddha Heads" campaign.

Previously, Wuqing received a donated Buddha statue that dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) under the Wu Emperor's reign and returned it to its hometown – Zhengyang county in Henan's Zhumadian city.

The delegation visited the county park, the entrepreneurship headquarters base, the Zhongxing Cloud Computing Experience Center, and Junli Agriculture Demonstration Park in Wuqing district.

Zhang Yong, Party secretary of the Tianjin CPC Committee, said Tianjin hopes to find more opportunities to carry out culture exchange and communication with Zhumadian city.
