Beer trademarks feature very rich regional cultures. For example, German beer trademarks focus on tradition. Most of their trademarks specify the date the brand was established. It is also common for breweries to produce seasonal beers for festivals, such as during Christmas. The beer trademarks in Canada emphasize the region's beautiful landscapes. Danish trademarks have very unique and fine designs. British trademarks are known for their decorum and decency. The color black is a top choice to represent the dignity and image of a gentleman. Australian trademarks prefer the image of animals.

Though the beer trademarks of different countries have different characteristics, they all serve the same function: advertising. They all play a role in the introduction, promotion and publicity of their brands. This is the reason that trademark designers do their best to put many concepts, ideas and pieces of historic information into the trademarks, including local cultures, landscapes and historic events.

There are three types of beer trademarks in China: Tsingtao Beer's oval trademark; trademarks that highlight local styles, such as scenic sites, historic spots and beautiful landscapes, including the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and landscapes in Guilin; and the use of foreign trademarks under the joint-venture breweries.

The beer trademark -- as a brand logo, a piece of art, a label to tell a story, and an image to record history -- has very high appreciation and collection value. It is believed that it will become a popular collector's item in the near future.
