Performance Information

In the Tang Dynasty lived a court official named of Chun Yufen. He once fell asleep as Monk Qixuan was teaching. In his dream, Chun entered into a world inhabited by ants. There he married a princess, Yaofang, and was appointed magistrate of Nanke. For two decades under Chun’s rule, people lived well and the princess gave birth to two sons and two daughters. Eventually the princess died during an enemy attack, and Chun eventually returned to his home. Only then did Chun realize it was all a dream. In the end, he became a monk himself.
