The 16th Qingdao International Beer Festival, with a dog called Jia Jia as its mascot, took place in the International Beer City and Stone Man National Tourism Resort from Aug 12 to 27, 2006. It was the first time that the festival organized the Beer International Brewing Technology Trade Expo with foreign exhibitors. The expo increased networking and deal-making opportunities for both Chinese and overseas enterprises.
