SHANGHAI, Oct. 23, 2012 (Xinhua) -- A foreign reader looks at the works series of new Nobel laureate Mo Yan at a bookstore in Shanghai, east China, Oct. 23, 2012. The works series of Mo, including all of the writer's 11 novels and 5 short stories, had been newly published by the Shanghai Literature and Arts Publishing House. The Swedish Academy announced in Stockholm on Oct. 11 that Mo receive the 2012 Nobel Prize in Literature, making him the first Chinese national to win the award. (Xinhua/Ren Long)
