Industrial zone

It has a planned area of greater than 30 square kilometers and will develop into a large-sized equipment manufacturing industry zone. It will focus on the following industries and products:

• Large-sized ship building and repairing industry
• Develop the new-type ships with great technology content and high added value based on the existing facilities and research and development (R&D) technologies
• Ocean engineering equipment
• Heavy-duty equipment manufacturing industry
• Engineering machinery manufacturing industry
• Electrical and mechanical equipment manufacturing industry dominated by power generation, high-voltage power transmission and transformation equipment
• Equipment manufacturing industry dominated by automobile, aircraft molds and their production lines
• R&D and manufacturing of high-tech products

Logistics functional zone

It has a planned area of more than 20 square kilometers and will develop storage, processing, distribution, information, management and other modern comprehensive logistic services to support port-related industries.

Port functional zone

It has a planned area of greater than 30 square kilometers with a 40 km long industrial and public coastline, and provides multi-functional integrated handling services.
