Xi'an-Xianyang new development area starts recruitment

An exam was held in Xi'an to recruit staff for the Xi'an-Xianyang new development area in Northwest China's Shaanxi province August 14.

About 2,100 candidates took part in the test. A total of 173 posts are supplied, among which are 51 mid-level positions.

The candidates come from across China, according to Li Xiao’an, chief of the Xi'an branch of Zhilianzhaopin, a famous online recruitment company. Nearly 30% of the candidates are from outside of Shaanxi. 30 to 50 candidates are from abroad. The number of the recruits is the highest in Shaanxi Province.

The result of the test will come out in 2 days. This kind of recruitment will be held every year in Xi'an-Xianyang new development area.

Xi'an-Xianyang new development area is located at the junction of Xi'an and Xianyang cities. It covers 882 square kilometers, 272 square kilometers of which are used as construction land. The area is the key to develop Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, as an international city. The new development area will become a technology-focused area, using the advantages of Shaanxi research institutes.
