New deputy director elected in Fujian

FUZHOU - Zhang Guangmin was elected as the deputy director of the Standing Committee of Fujian's 11th People's Congress, according to the congress's fourth plenary session on Tuesday.

Zhang Guangmin, with Chinese Communist Party, was born in April 1957. He has been the deputy secretary-general of Fujian Provincial Party committee and head of clerical office since 2005, before that he was the director of the provincial Taiwan Affairs Office since July 2003.

Liu Xin, Li Yuanxing, Lin Duoxiang, Huang Xiaoying(female) were elected as member of the Standing Committee of Fujian's 11th People's Congress. Fu Yongkun was nominated vice chairman of the Commission for Legal Affairs of the Standing Committee of Fujian's 11th People's Congress.

Liu Dezhang and Li Chuan resigned their positions as deputy director and vice governor for age reason.
