Chinese customs officers check aid materials about to be sent from Beijing to Islamabad, Aug 19, 2010. The shipment mainly consisted of daily necessities, including tents, compacted rations, blankets, generators, as well as medicine, bottled water and water purification equipment. The relief goods, worth 50 million yuan ($7.4 million), will be used to help Pakistan recover after the massive floods, which have so far killed 1,556 people and left 20 million homeless.
