Chinese mainland's first undersea tunnel opens
Xiang'an Tunnel, China's first undersea tunnel linking Xiamen Island and the mainland in Fujian Province was put into traffic on April 26, 2010. The undersea tunnel has a length of 8.7 kilometers. [Xinhua]
