Jeep slams into car after dog changes gears

A jeep collided with a cab after a dog pushed its gear stick into reverse in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, last Tuesday.

The pet owner failed to switch off the jeep's engine after he brought his dog to see a vet at an animal hospital in the city's Gongren road.

A witness surnamed Sun said the dog was in the driver's seat as the car reversed about 100 m into a cab after the driver got out for a moment.

He accepted responsibility for the accident and has agreed to pay compensation. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
