New York Yankees relief pitcher Mariano Rivera demonstrates how the new 'Nike
+ iPod Sports Kit' works at Niketown in New York July 13, 2006. The small red
and white sensor he is holding is placed in a pocket in the sole of the shoe,
and transmits data as he runs wirelessly to the iPod he is wearing strapped to
his arm, which can later be uploaded to a computer and analyzed. The new product
was jointly introduced by Nike and Apple for the first time in the United States
at the store. [Reuters]
