Basically, I think all the education practices in Asia - whether in China, Japan, Korea, or Singapore - fail in one key respect, which is creative thinking that spurs innovation. Studying hard doesn't ensure that a person will succeed, but being creative will create value added stuff for not only the country but the whole of humanity. Google, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, were not invented in Asia.. …. I hope the education experts start looking at tech in a creative way.
