( China Daily)

In this case, no news has not been good news. After more than 30 hours, still nothing is known of the whereabouts of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which vanished from radar screens on Saturday an hour after it took off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing.

The world is waiting anxiously along with the tearful relatives of those on board for any news of the fate of the 227 passengers and 12 crew on board the Boeing 777-200 ER.

We know how the relatives of those on board must feel and share their grief.

China, the United States, Malaysia, Vietnam and some other states have sent ships to search for the plane, which seems to have disappeared into the sea near Vietnam.

Despite the fact that there were no indications of sabotage or claims of a terrorist attack, if the plane had a mechanical problem it is strange that the pilot did not report he was in difficulties.

Its sudden disappearance suggests that something happened suddenly to the plane that the crew had no time to do anything about it.

What was even more peculiar is the fact that reports suggest that up to two people on board may have been using false passports.

Who were they and why were they using false passports?

These are mysteries that wait to be unraveled about the mysterious disappearance of this flight.

It may take some time to locate the wreck of airplane and even more time to get to know the truth of what happened to bring it down.

However, the possibility of terrorism cannot be ruled out until the plane is located and it is known for certain what brought it down.

It wears our patience to wait for news about the missing flight.

Whether the missing plane is located or not, and whether its loss is due to terrorist attack or a mechanical fault or something else, the fact that some of the passengers on board were traveling with false passports should serve as a reminder to the whole world that security can never be too tight, at airports in particular, since terrorism, the evil of the world, is still trying to stain human civilization with the blood of innocent lives.
