McDonald's to open resturant in Zhouzhuang

McDonald's, one of the world's largest fast food restaurant chains, is set to open a restaurant in Zhouzhuang, one of the most famous ancient water towns in East China's Jiangsu province.

In addition to the world renowned fast food, visitors to the water town are able to have a taste of local characteristic cuisines.

Here are five traditional restaurants you shouldn't miss.

1. Shuizhiyun

Shuizhiyun, which could accommodate more than 800 eaters at the same time, is no doubt the largest hotel in Zhouzhuang. There eaters are able to relish the food packed with Zhouzhuang characteristics in particular with the Wansan pork shank, a traditional dish named after Shen Wansan, the first millionaire from Jiangnan, the region south of the Yangtze River Delta during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
