Beer festival takes the edge off summer in Zhouzhuang

As the glaring sun continues to scorch the landscape, Zhouzhuang, a famous water town in Suzhou, Jiangsu province has untapped a beer festival to quench the thirst of visitors parched by the summer heat. Taking place from July 15 through Aug 31, the festival will play host to many interesting and entertaining activities for visitors.

1086 Slow Life Block

The 1086 Slow Life Block, a bar street in Zhouzhuang, takes its name from the year the water town was founded. That year, a Song Dynasty landowner named Zhou donated a plot of land to build the Quanfu Temple. From then on the area was named Zhouzhuang.
