The exhibition is organized by Shicui Art Mall. Shicui Art Mall has taken the responsibility of protecting the culture and promoting the development of ethnic folk crafts.

During the exhibition, visitors would see and experience the making of Yunnan's folk arts and crafts. Meanwhile, masters and artists will give speeches about Yunnan's culture. On Jan 3, a symposium was held, and scholars including Li Yan, director of the Culture Industry Research Institute in Yunnan University, discussed the development trend of Yunnan’s handicrafts.

During the exhibition, a famous ceramist, Wu Baiyu, will exhibit ceramic works and manuscripts. Seven post-80s young handicraft artists will present their works around different themes including earth, metal, wood, fire and water. The exhibition will combine handicraft arts with modern elements. From Jan 3-4, series activities including the Shicui Seagull Creative Bazaar Anniversary were also held.
