The Tai'an delegation gave an all-round promotion of the city's tourism resources at the just-concluded Shandong (Jinan) International Tourism Fair in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

The delegation consisted of more than 60 members. It included officials from the city's culture and tourism departments, as well as representatives from local travel agencies, tourist attractions, rural tourism sites, hotels, and tourism products enterprises.

The Tai'an exhibition area at the fair received more than 15,000 visitors for tourism consultation. More than 100,000 copies of its travel brochures were given out, such as guidebooks and tourism routes. In addition more than 3,000 of its souvenirs were distributed.

More than 100 enterprises and travel agencies had reached initial cooperation agreements with the Tai'an delegation.

The three-day fair comprised an area of 30,000 square meters and featured a total of 1,000 booths. It attracted more than 3,000 exhibitors and purchasers from 33 countries and regions.

The fair, jointly hosted by the Jinan government and the Shandong provincial department of culture and tourism, is designed to be an important platform for showcasing Shandong's tourism and cultural resources, as well as to promote tourism cooperation.
