Chinese Government Scholarship

In order to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese people and people around the world, and also to develop exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in politics, economy, culture, education and trade, the Chinese government set up various scholarships to fund students, teachers and scholars all over the world to come to Chinese universities for study and research.
Overseas students with a Chinese Government Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as prize fellow) will be assigned to colleges and universities or research institutions entrusted by the Ministry of Education to study science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, law, management, education, history, literature, philosophy, etc. The Ministry of Education has formulated an Annual Plan of Chinese Government Scholarship's and entrusted the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC) with enrollment of prize fellows and management of their daily affairs in China.
China welcomes outstanding students, scholars and teachers from all nations to attend China's universities for study and research. As one of the recruitment components of the Chinese Government Scholarship program, Shanxi University enrolls foreign undergraduates and post-graduates (including students with a master's degree and PhD degrees) from around the world for this scholarship.
