Shuozhou opened a customs post in Shuocheng district, Shuozhou city, on Jan 17.
The facility will provide faster and more efficient import and export services for companies in the city conducting foreign trade, further reducing customs clearance costs and boosting trade facilitation.
In addition, the customs office will help support Shuozhou in bringing key projects to the city, and in conducting industrial transfer and promoting export-oriented economic development.
Shuozhou has been developing its foreign trade in recent years, with the city’s total import and export volume maintaining steady growth for three consecutive years –– hitting 558 million yuan ($82.33 million) in 2018.
