More than 350 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) carried out business matching with 60 service institutions at a provincial service matching event for SMEs in Taiyuan on June 27.
The event, sponsored by Shanxi SME Bureau aimed to help solve problems in financing, technology and marketing that many local SMEs face.
The organizer established 11 service matching areas including areas for financial services, personnel training, market expansion and policy consultation at the event to ensure that companies can negotiate and trade with service institutions based on their needs.
The event saw 41 intentions for cooperation worth more than 17 million yuan ($2.57 million) reached between SMEs and service institutions, covering fields such as venture loans, taxation, legal services and equity investment projects.
The revenue, profits and taxes of SMEs in Shanxi increased 9.11 percent, 10.72 percent and 10.85 percent by this May, showing a steady upward trend.
