An industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing and innovation center was established in Shanxi Demonstration Area for Economic Transformation and Reform on Jan 15, as a tripartite agreement between the management committee of the area, Siemens PLM Software and Shanxi Keruiseng IT Co was signed the same day.
The industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing and innovation center will focus on building an intelligent manufacturing capability center, a professional lab for intelligent manufacturing, a solutions research center for the intelligent manufacturing industry, and a platform for cultivating intelligent manufacturing professionals based on Siemens' technical expertise.
Meanwhile, the center will establish a Sino-German digital and intelligent manufacturing industrial park, advance the application of technological achievements, and cooperate with world famous manufacturers and domestic listed manufacturing companies on building a national demonstration area for intelligent manufacturing.
