Jiaocheng county of Shanxi province announced construction of Shanxi (Jiaocheng) Big Data Industrial Park on Jan 12 at a seminar held in Taiyuan.
The industrial park, focusing on analysis of data sets and developing applications which adopt predictive or user behavior analytics, will establish five industrial platforms, including an intelligent speech recognition system and 3D printing based on big data. The advanced technology associated with big data will be applied to industry, finance, education and transportation.
Cooperation with internet companies will also be expanded. The WiFi Road Big Data Center sponsored by WiFi Road, a business engaged in developing intelligent transportation networks, will be set up in the park. By partnering with leading big data companies like Poly Communications, the Jiaocheng government plans to found Shanxi Foundation for the Big Data Industry to attract more big data-related projects to the county.
