A press conference was held at Chongqing Commerce Commission on Oct 29, to announce the arrival of "Shanxi Brands China Tour" in the area.
It will officially open at the 800-square-meter B1 Exhibition Area of Chongqing International Convention Center on Nov 1, in conjunction with the 8th China Senior Citizen Exposition.
Chongqing is China's youngest municipality and a historical city with a 3,000-year history. Prompted by its favorable location and the Senior Citizen Expo, this session will further promote Shanxi brands in Chongqing and across the south-western region.
Nearly 40 Shanxi enterprises with 1,100 products will take part. Benefiting from its unique geographical location and climate, Shanxi has various top-quality brand products, along with famous specialties such as high-calcium, high-fiber, low-sugar, low-fat, prevention from diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease health products.
As part of the exhibition, more than 120 shopping malls, chain supermarkets, catering business and tourism businesses in Chongqing will cooperate with Shanxi enterprises through the introduction conference .
Live Shanxi noodle shows and accompanying folk singer performances are expected to add some zest to the activity.
