The highlight of the festival was a panorama display of China's National Highway 318 (G318). The highway, which connects Shanghai and Xigaze of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is considered the most beautiful road for self-driving tours. The 54.74 meter display vividly presents the scenery, customs and tourism resources along the highway.

The Shanghai Auto Culture Festival, which has been hosted in Jiading for 10 years, is aimed at developing brand tourism programs and boosting the development of the automobile industry in the district.

This year's event, spanning two months till May 6, includes a series of activities including auto races, exhibitions and forums. The most important part of the event, the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix, will be held at the Shanghai Audi International Circuit from April 13 to 15.
