The five-day fair, which opened on Sept 19, boasts an exhibition area of 103,000 square meters, more than 5,000 international-standard stalls, and 2,701 exhibitors from across the world.
The Yantai booth promotes the city's history and cultural products, including woolen embroidery, paper-cutting, Laishan chimes and dough modeling, combining traditional elements and modern creativity.
The organizers employed a variety of modern methods, including videos, project promotion and interactive displays to fully present the city's cultural achievements in recent years.
Yu Yongxin, director of the Yantai municipal publicity department, visited the booth and participated in the signing ceremony for several key cultural industry projects in Shandong province.
Longkou, a county-level city in Yantai, also has set up a separate booth in the exhibition to fully showcase its rich local culture.
