Chief of global wine body to attend Yantai expo

Regina Vanderlinde, president of a Paris-based international wine authority called the OIV, is scheduled to attend the 12th Yantai International Wine Expo which will be held in Yantai on June 26-30, local media reported.
Vanderlinde heads up the International Organization of Vine and Wine -- the OIV -- headquartered in the capital of France. It is an intergovernmental organization committed to solving problems concerning vines, wine, wine-based beverages, table grapes, raisins and other vine-based products.
Hosted by Yantai government, the wine expo will be China's first wine exposition themed with "famous production areas + renowned brands + whole industrial chain". To data, it has attracted more than 500 exhibitors from 22 countries.
