The 4th Shandong College Students Science Festival was held at Laiwu Vocation College on May 8 to promote the all-round ability and employment opportunities for college students in East China's Shandong province.

Sponsored by the Shandong Science and Technology Association, the festival features 13 well-designed activities, including the provincial computer software competition, the animation design contest, the intelligence car competition, mathematics and physics competitions.

Starting in 2009, the festival has attracted more than 20,000 students from 128 colleges and universities in Shandong province. A total of 1,200 award winners gained priority in securing a job offer.
