The 2015 New Year concert "Night of Ancient Jimo" was staged at the Qingdao Grand Theater, in Qingdao city, Shandong province, on Jan 5, where the city's Tiantai symphony orchestra cooperated with the US orchestra MasterWorks Festival, led by the famous conductor Su Wenxing.

The concert begun in The Festival Overture works, a classic work by Li Huanzhi (1919-2000), former chair at the Chinese Musicians Association. The concert also featured large numbers of foreign classics performed by the US orchestra composed of 18 young musicians.

The organizer said that the New Year's concert consisted of 17 classic songs from home and abroad, which was a must-see show for classical music fans.
