Lijiang's Huaping county launches theme reading activity

Huaping county in Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province launched a reading activity on April 23 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

During the activity, a total of 326 books worth 8,597.8 yuan ($1,277.65) were donated to schools such as Huaping county People's Primary School and Huaping county No1 Middle School.

After the launching ceremony, the officials and workers who participated in the activity visited a book exhibition of authentic books.
