The people of the Bai ethnic group in Jinjiang village in the Old Town of Lijiang gathered together on April 10 to celebrate the annual Sanyuesan Festival.

Sanyuesan, which refers to the third day of the third lunar month, is one of the country's most famous folk festivals and is observed through a series of celebrations.

The festival included music, dance, traditional opera, and demonstrations of local intangible cultural heritages, such as sugar painting, paper-cutting, embroideries, and carving, which showcased the versatile culture and hospitable mature of the Bai ethnic group.
Jinjiang village is the only ethnic village in the Old Town of Lijiang with a profound national cultural heritage.
