First 'Peach Blossom Festival' to open in Lijiang

The opening ceremony for the first peach blossom festival will be held in Lashi town, Yulong county, Lijiang city on April 13.

The festival is jointly organized by the Lijiang Snow Peach Industry Association and Lijiang Ruixiang Snow Peach Development Co Ltd.

It has adopted the slogan "new age, new countryside, new future" and aims to increase the notoriety of Lijiang's snow peach, promote the integration of the snow peach and tourism industries and further build Lijiang into an agricultural demonstration site.

The peach blossom festival will include various performances, a calligraphy talent show, a painting talent show, and the first peach blossom-themed photography contest.
